On April 20th, 1999, the students and teachers at Columbine high school in Littleton,
Colorado, became numb with grief after two of their fellow students turned their
place to learn, into a place to kill. The sunny spring day was draped with sorrow and misery, as Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold,
began a shooting rampage, devastating their school in a matter of 15 minutes. Hallways and classrooms became bloody battlefields
filled with smoke, while bathrooms instantly transformed into safe sanctuaries. Sounds of gunshots wounding friends, frantically
beating hearts and metal pellets punching the schools’ lockers, sliced the airs in the once calm hallways. Hundreds
of bodies resembled a cloud of swarming bees, each one trying to escape as the terror mounted, wondering what they were to
do, where they were to go and even more terrifyingly, would they survive? That was up to Harris and Klebold.
